Raed Abed

Raed was a Reporter & News Producer in the Sport Department of Al Jazeera News Channel from January 1999 till August 2003. He was also one of the Founders of Al Jazeera Sport Channel in 2003. From 2003 until 2019 he was in BeIn Sports and Headed the Reporters Department and News Exchange for ten years .

Participating in recruiting reporters, developping their capabilities, facilitating
their daily tasks through planning & programs & Visits and covering the different sports
activities and events.

Raed was a Senior Supervisor of BeIn London’s Studio that covered the London Olympic Games 2012 participating in preparing News Shows & reports and presenting as well the News live from London. He participated in the coverage of Major World Sports Activities and Events including FIFA WCs.

Raed is a Trainer with Jazeera Media Institute & Qatar Olympic Academy & Gulf Media
Federation and Asia Confederation of Sports Media. He is a certified trainer since 2013 in Al Jazeera Training Center and he has delivered many Training Courses in these places.
